The (Non) Debate

Yesterday I showed up for what I thought was going to be a lame event: Two gubernatorial candidates making separate boring speeches, not taking questions and maybe shaking hands afterward inside of the dimly-lit casino conference room with bad carpet. It turned out to be a little bit more fun. Rory Reid, the Democratic candidate, challenged Brian Sandoval, the Republican, to an impromptu debate during the Nevada Subcontractors Association annual luncheon.
